What is the range of the Lakerunner?
The Lakerunner 1, 2 and 3 can operate up to 1200m from the bank, giving you the flexibility to reach distant fishing spots.
How long does the battery last?
Our bait boats are powered by high-capacity lithium batteries that can last between 5 hours and 10 hours, depending on usage and conditions, allowing for extended fishing sessions.
How do I charge the boat and remote?
Both the bait boat and remote come with rechargeable lithium batteries. The boat can be charged via a standard wall power outlet, and the remote can be recharged using a USB-C cable, included with your purchase.
What happens if the boat loses signal or power?
The Lakerunner 2.0 and 3.0 boats are equipped with GPS technology and an automatic return-to-home feature. If the boat loses signal, power runs low, or you activate the feature manually, the boat will safely return to the home position.
Can the Lakerunner be uses in rough or windy conditions?
Our bait boats are designed to handle moderate wind and water conditions. However, we recommend avoiding very rough or stormy weather for optimal performance and safety.

How does the Fish Finder work?
The fish finder uses sonar technology to detect fish and underwater structures, displaying the information on a built-in screen. It helps identify fish-rich areas and gives real-time data on fish depth, size, and location which appears digitally on your screen.
How many fishing spots can I save using GPS?
You can save up to 20 fishing spots, including a home position, using the built-in GPS system. This feature allows save specific spots on different lakes for future use. Remember to alsays set a new home position on each lake. Ideally this should be 2 metres from bank in a clear area.
Is the bait boat easy to control?
Yes, the Lakerunners feature a user-friendly, single-handed remote with a thumb joystick for smooth and precise control. The remote is equipped with a digital display and is intuitive for both novice and experienced anglers.
What is the maximum bait capacity of the boat?
All bait boat can carry up to 3kg of bait in its hopper, allowing you to deploy large quantities in a single trip, ideal for creating effective baiting spots.
What kind of warranty or guarantee do you offer?
We offer an industry-leading 2-year immediate replacement guarantee. If your boat breaks within this period, we will send you a new one, ensuring minimal downtime and peace of mind.
Can the boat be used in saltwater?
While the bait boat is designed primarily for freshwater use, it can be used in saltwater with proper maintenance. Be sure to thoroughly clean and rinse the boat after each saltwater trip to prevent corrosion and maintain performance.
What maintenance does the boat require?
The boat requires minimal maintenance. We recommend cleaning it after each use, checking the propellers for debris, storing it safely in a carrybag and ensuring the batteries are fully charged.
How do I set up the GPS home position?
Setting the home position is easy. Simply place the boat in the desired starting location (we advise this to be say 2 metres from bank in a clear area)and use the remote to save the spot as the home position. This should be done each time you fish at a new venue.
What accessories come with the bait boat?
The boat comes with a remote control, charging cables, batteries, and a user manual. Optional accessories like carry bags, additional batteries, and spare propellers can be purchased separately.
